This is the 19th year that students and faculty members at Sampson Middle School have participated in Operation Christmas Child.

Shoe boxes are filled with small gifts like school supplies, candy, gum, socks, and small toys. Then the shoe box gifts will be delivered to needy children around the world.

SMS teacher Caroline Strickland’s sixth-grade homeroom won the competition of collecting the most shoe box gifts. This class worked together in collecting 39 shoe box gifts.

Samspon Middle School collected a grand total of 334 shoe box gifts this year.
