HCA’s Huff signs with Meredith

January 4, 2014

On Dec. 17, Harrells Christian Academy senior Anna Huff officially signed her letter of intent to play volleyball at Meredith College.

Huff will graduate from HCA in May and then continue her academic and volleyball career as a Meredith ‘Angel.’ Huff has been a student at Harrells since kindergarten and began playing volleyball there in the seventh grade. She led her HCA team to the 2013 NCISAA playoffs and earned All-Conference and All-County honors.

In addition, Huff has played at the club level for the last two years. She is currently a member of North Carolina Elite Coastal Volleyball Club. During high school, Huff also volunteered as a volleyball coach for the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department.

Beaming with smiles and enthusiasm, the HCA senior shared her excitement about having the opportunity to play at the college level. “Words can’t describe how blessed and excited I feel about being at an amazing school doing what I truly love with an awesome team and coaching staff,” Huff said. “Meredith is a small school that’s competitive in both academics and athletics and I’m excited for the next four years to compete in both.”
