County and city students with special needs were given an opportunity Friday to visit with college representatives and businesses geared towards their situations. Presentations were made by various members of staff in the computer labs, media center, auditorium and in one-on-one question and answer opportunities.

The transitional fair was set up for both eighth-graders and high school students, and gave the attendees information about moving forward down their career paths through either job placement or attending college. Students were also able to gather information about financial aid and the college application process.
