DeVane signs to play at UNCW

Harrells Christian Academy senior Anna DeVane signs her letter of intent to play softball at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington Wednesday. During her high school softball career, DeVane has received All-conference, All-county, and All-state recognition. She has also played travel softball with the Lady Lightning, formerly the Stingerz, since her freshman year. In addition to excelling on the field, DeVane has been a starter on the varsity basketball team, and academically, she ranks at the top of her class. DeVane is from Elizabethtown and has attended HCA since kindergarten. After graduating from HCA in May, she will bgin preparing for her freshman year as a UNCW Seahawk.
