Ghost Apparatus art exhibit opens Oct. 10 at UMO

MOUNT OLIVE — The University of Mount Olive will host the art exhibit, “Ghost Apparatus,” in the Teresa Pelt Grubbs Art Gallery from Oct. 10 — Nov. 4. The show will feature work by Visual Artist George McKim.

McKim makes paintings on canvas, paper, and collages. His abstract paintings are filled with color and are visually electric. His work is predominately abstract and is inspired by art, nature, and architectural structures. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums in North Carolina and the Southeast. McKim is the author of Found and Lost, a collection of re-purposed and remixed Found Poetry and Visual Poetry.
