Midway High School’s Class of 1966 gathered for their 50th class reunion at Mingo Community Center on Oct. 15. Some 30 classmates, spouses, guests, and former teachers fellowshiped and reminisced about times past.
After a time of socializing, Bobby Ray McLamb welcomed the classmates and guests.
Afterwards, a delicious catered meal by Sandpiper of Clinton was enjoyed. For dessert, an anniversary cake, along with several homemade desserts, were enjoyed.
Larry Daniels led a time of remembrance for the 12 deceased classmates.
It was a night for picture-taking, too, to record this special time. Pictures from graduation and since, and other memorabilia from high school, were fun to see again.
It was a time of laughter and a time to reconnect over the years. It was a happy time to see one another.
In addition to the classmates and guests, former teachers Carolyn Anderson Roth and Houston Warren attended. Also present was long-time classmate Herman Lynn Jackson.
