Sampson 3-year-old earns Wee Miss title


Three-year-old Emery Ann Prenda of Newton Grove, earned the title of Wee Miss US Photo Supreme 2017 in early August.


Emery Ann Prenda, daughter of Matthew and Heather Prenda of Newton Grove, gets a little help adjusting her sash after being crowned Wee Miss earlier this month.


Emery Ann Prenda, age 3, competed July 28-30 in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., where she was named Wee Miss US Photo Supreme 2017 (Amerifest).

Emery was awarded one of the six high titles out of 120 young girls across America.

Emery resides with her parents, Matthew and Heather Prenda, in Newton Grove . She is the granddaughter of Woody and Malinda Knight, Walter Cotton, and Linda and Billy Jackson, all of Newton Grove.

Before attending Nationals in Tennessee, she was named Wee Miss North Carolina in October 2016, qualifying her for Nationals.

She is the youngest NC queen to hold a national title.
