Champion achieves Eagle Scout

Champion built an herb planter as his Eagle Scout project to be used at Clinton High School.


Holden Reece Champion, 15, of Clinton, achieved the rank of Eagle Scout earlier this year, on Aug. 3. He is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 27, sponsored by Graves Memorial Presbyterian Church in Clinton.

Champion is the son of Danny and Chandee Champion and is a sophomore at Clinton High School.

For his Eagle Scout project, he built an herb planter to enhance the learning of the Foods and Agriculture classes at his high school.
