Lindsay Marie Britt and Dr. Aaron Michael Roberts were united in marriage on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Orange United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill. The Reverend William Kenneth Hall, Jr. officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Allen Britt, Jr. of Suttontown. She is the granddaughter of Estalene Lindsay and the late James Earl Lindsay and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Allen Britt of Newton Grove.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Marion Roberts of Cincinnati, Ohio. He is the grandson of Madeline Roberts and the late John Roberts and the late Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hennings.
The bride received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. She is employed at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
The groom is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise and Sports Science. He received a Doctor of Medicine degree from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and is an orthopaedic surgery resident at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Ms. Meredith Britt of Clayton, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and vocalist. Mr. Nolan Roberts of Poulsbo, Wash., brother of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Mr. Dan Austin of Washington, D.C., Mr. Wren Dupre of Annapolis, Md., Mr. Robby Jackson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Robby McNeese of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Dr. Zach Wegermann of Durham, all friends of the groom.
Ms. Alex Cuff of Richmond, Va., served as greeter and program attendant. Scripture reader was Dr. Alyssa Vora of Morrisville. Pianist was Mr. John Nathan Benton of Wake Forest. All are friends of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the North Carolina Botanical Garden in Chapel Hill where guests were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Joel Britt, aunt and uncle of the bride.
The morning after the wedding, the parents of the bride and groom hosted a breakfast buffet at Carolina 1663 in Chapel Hill. The couple traveled to California for their honeymoon, and they now reside in Rochester, New York.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner on the eve of the wedding at the Weathervane Restaurant in Chapel Hill.

Friends and family of the bride hosted a bridal shower at Southern Exposure in Faison in February.
