The headliner for Pink Hill’s RoseFest is New Bern country music artist Bryan Mayer (2015 hit single “Lil Bit Naughty”). The event will be from 9:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 21.

With two professional entertainment stages spotlighting a lineup of North Carolina musicians and a pet parade (last year’s pet parade to be featured on the PBS’ television series A Chef’s Life), the Eastern North Carolina festival is expected to draw larger-than-ever crowds.

Ben Knight and producer Cynthia Hill from A Chef’s Life will be present, and John Currin and Scarlett Howard are to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Another headliner of the festival is, of course, the town’s 2,500 rose bushes which will be in bloom.
