Union students perform

Union Elementary third grade students performed Nov. 10 in their PTO program. The kids have been studying landforms, sea life, and poetry in their home classrooms, as well as in their music and art classes. In music class, they learned songs about landforms and the ocean, such as ‘This Land is Your Land,’ and ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ to perform at Thursday’s PTO. They also recited poetry that they wrote themselves about their favorite landforms. In art class, the students created murals of landforms and underwater scenes that were on display for the event.
