The Sampson Community Theater gives thanks on this Thanksgiving Day and every day of the year for our volunteers, actors, actresses, patrons, commercial sponsors, directors, board members, concession workers, floor sweepers, sound techs, spotlight handlers, set builders, painters of backdrops and side panels, and special thanks to Terry Long and his company for their prompt and efficient update of our aging heating and cooling system. We feel we are a true community asset and try to bring to our theater goers the best plays we can arrange.

The next production on our big stage is “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” and one relative newcomer to our venue is Amber Lackey who is a 15 year old home schooled young lady whose unusual hobby is rabbit breeding. She is heavily involved in 4H and raises rabbits for showing. She is ranked nationally in the top echelons of rabbit breeders and gets exceptionally excited when discussing anything related to rabbits. Amber had a role in “Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat” along with several of her siblings which was her first stage showing ever but which she had wanted to do for a long time. We welcome Amber to our stage and look forward to seeing her in future productions.

We are indebted to Jordan Shopping Plaza and Matthew’s Gifts for their sponsorship of this great show. Tickets my be purchased at Inkspot or Matthew’s Gifts.

2017 Patron tickets are currently available by calling Brenda Martin at 990-4510. Patron tickets give two people admission to every show we produce in 2017 with a reduced rate.
