On Wednesday, Feb. 8-10 at 7 p.m. nightly (already in progress), the month of the Prophets will be held at The New Church of Christ, Faison. The guest is Prophetess Gwendolyn Gibbs of New Bern. Feb. 13-17, the guest will be Prophet Leory Hargett of Smithfield. Feb. 20-24, the guest will be Prophet S.E. McKinney of Wilson. The New Church of Christ praise team will render the music during the services.

On Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m., Survival Expert and Reality T.V. personality, E.J. Snyder will be the guest speaker at Roseboro United Methodist Church. He is a retired Army vet, wilderness survival expert, military, history expert and host of Discovery Channel’s Dual Survival.

On Saturday, Feb. 11, at 8 a.m., Roseboro United Methodist women will be traveling to Duke Chapel for a guided tour. This trip is open to anyone that would like to go. On Saturday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m., Western Assembly Disciples of Christ Churches will have their Usher’s Workshop. The theme is:”Ushering Is The Name Of The Game.” Hosted by: Point Level Disciples of Christ Church, Clinton. This service will be held at the Western Assembly Headquarter Building, Newton Grove.

On Saturday, Feb. 11, at 6 p.m., Relationship Workshop and Banquet will be held at Goshen Disciple Church, 7120 Suttontown Road, Faison. Hosted by Evangelist Shirley Devone. The theme: What’s Love and Respect got to do with it? The guest messengers for this event will be: Pastor Elwood McPhail of Milton Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, as Husband Workshop Presenter; Pastor, Dr. Evelena Oliver of St. Jude Disciple Church, Warsaw, as Wives Workshop Presenter; and Pastor Olavee Williams of Total Alignment Ministries, Charlotte as Single Workshop Presenter.

On Sunday, Feb. 12, at 10 a.m., regular morning worship service will be held at Big Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. The pastor, the Rev. Kevin D. Parrish will bring forth the message and the male chorus will render the music.

On Sunday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m., Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Keener, will observe their “Black History and Old Fashion Day.” The pastor, Bishop Garland Mayes, will bring forth the message and the women’s choir will render the music. An old fashion dinner will be served.

On Sunday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m., regular morning worship service will be held at Cedar Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. The pastor, the Rev. Alice J. Boykin, will bring forth the message and the adult choir will render the music. Following the morning service, there will be a Black History program.

On Sunday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m., regular morning worship service will be held at Lisbon St. Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. The pastor, the Rev. Thaddeus Godwin, will bring forth the message and the youth choir will render the music.

On Sunday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m., regular morning worship service will be held at Greater Six Runs Missionary Baptist Church, Turkey. The pastor, the Rev. Leslie Morrisey, will bring forth the message and the adult choir will render the music.

On Sunday, Feb. 12, at 11:30 a.m., Greater Mt. Calvary Holiness Church, Clinton, will observe their Black History and Valentine’s Day. A Valentine Sweetheart will be honored. There will be different activities on the program. Dinner will be served after the morning service.

On Saturday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m., Women’s Conference will be held at Holy Tabernacle United Holy Church, Roseboro. The guest messengers will be Elder Barbara Murphy and Minister Hattie Faison. The theme: Virtuous Daughters.” Prov. 31:29.

On Saturday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m., Mingle Hill Disciples of Christ Church, Salemburg will celebrate their gospel choir anniversary. Various musical guests will attend on the program.

On Sunday, Feb. 19, at 3 p.m., Brown’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, will celebrate their Annual Black History program. The theme is: the past, present and future. There will be different activities on the program.

On Sunday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m., The Annual 100 Men’s Rally will be held at St. Peter’s AME Zion Church, 321 Barnes Loop Road, Elizabethtown. Elder Andrew Dixon Brown will bring forth the morning message and the combined male chorus will render the music. FMI call 910-590-4605.

On Sunday, Feb. 26, at 3 p.m., Point Level Disciples of Christ Church, Clinton, will celebrate their Annual Black History program. There will be musical guests.
