A Clinton teenager is facing several charges after allegedly barging into a Dogwood Circle home, armed with a gun, and assaulting a female resident at the home, according to reports from Clinton Police Department officials.
Izaiah Jamal Blue, 19, of 1060 Thomson Ave., Clinton, was arrested on Tuesday stemming from a home invasion late Monday night. The incident was reported at about 10 p.m. Monday. A 22-year-old female victim at Dogwood Circle sustained minor injuries when a suspect, reportedly Blue, entered her home armed with a gun.
Blue was charged with first degree burglary, intimidating witness, assault on a female, assault by pointing a gun, interfering with emergency communication and injury to personal property.
His bond was set at $25,000 secured.
Blue, listed in police reports as a student at Union High School, was taken into custody at the Sampson County Courthouse following the domestic-related incident.
The female victim told police that Blue barged into her home and pulled her by the arm and hair across her residence, according to reports. Blue allegedly pulled a long gun, possibly a shotgun, from his pants and aimed it at her left leg then took her cell phone and threw it, breaking it, reports state.
The Samsung Galaxy Edge was valued at $600.
