A Clinton woman has received felony drug charges following a search of her residence on Tuesday, prompted by a complaint to Sampson County Sheriff’s authorities.
Moneka Sharda Brewington, 27, of Clinton, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana up to half an ounce and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Brewington was reportedly arrested as a result of an investigation initiated by agents with the Sampson County Special Investigation Division, based on a drug complaint received by investigators. Agents spoke with the suspect and gained consent to search her residence. During that search heroin, cocaine and ice were located, Sheriff’s Lt. Marcus Smith said.
As a result she was arrested. According to the sheriff’s booking log, she was arrested at 6 p.m. Tuesday
Her bond was set at $3,000 secured.
