On Saturday Feb. 18, the Hippity Hop 4-H Rabbit Club and Sampson County 4-H hosted its annual 4-H Bunny Bowl.

Bunny Bowl is a contest where the youth are quizzed on their overall knowledge of rabbits. Subjects that the youth are tested on include breeds, anatomy, showmanship, and overall knowledge.

Caitlin Macialek placed third, while Gabe Moser took home second place for the Junior division and 4-Hers Kaylee Lackey and Emma Haynes tied for first place.

In the Senior division, 4-Her Kaitlyn West took top prize while Amber Lackey placed second and Taylor Foster placed third.

Held immediately after the completion of the Bunny Bowl contest was the 4-H Rabbit Show. This year’s winners were Madison Lackey and Kaylee Lackey who received Best in Show.
