North Carolina 4-H recently held its annual 4-H Volunteer Leaders Conference in Durham.

Sampson County had two volunteers honored during the annual conference banquet. Rob Richardson and Rose Lee were both honored for their outstanding support and dedication to the Sampson County 4-H Program. They received a District Volunteer Recognition Award. Along with honoring the volunteers, North Carolina 4-H also honored sponsors at the banquet.

Smithfield Foods received the N.C. 4-H Donor Award for their outstanding support of the Sampson County Cooperative Extension and 4-H programming. Receiving the award on behalf of Smithfield Foods was Rhonda Campbell, Rob Richardson and Jerry Hairr.
