Board recognizes students


The Clinton City Schools Board of Education recognized the March Students of the Month during a meeting earlier this week. Recognized were Vyron Euraque, kindergarten; Honesty Howard, second grade; Ruth Pierre, fifth grade; Cristal Ortiz, eighth grade; and Lindy Bustabad, twelfth grade.


Sampson Middle School students were recognized for their achievement at the Junior Beta Convention. Students are Trenton Sumner, division 2 language arts, third place; Harley Phipps, division 2 painting, second place; and Tower of Power Team (Julian Beaujeu-Dufour, Connor Johnson, Caleb Kennedy, Connor Melenas and Matthew Warren, second place.


Students from Sampson Middle School were recognized for their placement in the regional math fair. From left are RayShaun Williams, third place; Marlee Johnson, honorable mention; Alyssa James, second place; Alex Gomez, honorable mention; and Robbi Altier, honorable mention.
