Arrests

4/27 – Dewayne Clayton Chason, 24, 118 Cool Springs Road, Magnolia, injury to personal property. Bond $1,000; court date May 21.

4/27 – Heather Lin Hernan, 19, 139 Heath St., Clinton, failure to appear on charges of driving while license revoked, and failure to carry driver’s license (Onslow County charges). Bond $300; court date May 5.

4/27 – Theresa Young Johnson, 51, 115 Hunter Justin Lane, Clinton, failure to appear on charges of driving while license revoked, speeding and expired registration. Bond $2,000; court date May 18.

4/27 – Ronald Edward McLellan, 42, 520 Chancey Road, Clinton, two counts fraud (Bladen County). Bond $1,000; court date May 26.

4/27 – DeDriana Ruby Bryant, 20, 7638 Victory Drive, Longwood, NC, driving while license revoked, reckless driving to endanger, driving while impaired, driving after consuming, failure to wear seat belt, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (Brunswick). Bond $14,000; court date May 26.

Incidents

4/27 – Assorted jewelry valued at over $3,000 an undisclosed amount of cash, two safes and some checkbooks were stolen during a break-in of a residence on Old Warsaw Road. Entry was gained by kicking in the front door. No damage reported.

4/27 – A softball bag with four helmets, six softballs and a catcher’s mitt was stolen from a Maxwell Road residence near Autryville. Entry was gained through a sliding front window. No damage was reported.

4/27 – A four-door Honda Accord valued at $4,000 was stolen while it was parked on Trestle Road near Ivanhoe.
