A lofty badge of honor


The Clinton Police Department has unveiled new badges, which showcase the iconic downtown Clinton courthouse clock tower. The design for the new badge was spearheaded by Officer Julian Williams, who worked for months on his off time to bring the design to fruition. Assistant Chief Donald Edwards said the department ‘fell in love with it’ upon seeing the finished product. City Council members also lauded the new badges. ‘We think he did an outstanding job,’ Edwards said of Williams.
