The Sampson Community Theatre has just wrapped up it’s All County Musical, Les Miserables School Edition. All six performances were all attended by great audiences, and it was an amazing way to wrap up the spring portion of our 2017 season. The ending of Les Miserables School Edition sparks the beginning of a new production at SCT. Preparation has begun for our summer musical Honk! Jr. This production is a musical adaptation from the story of The Ugly Duckling. It is a family friendly show that is sure to bring a smile to the faces of many.
Auditions for Honk! Jr. are to be today, Friday, May 12 at 6 p.m., and Saturday, May 13, at 10 a.m. Anyone from age 3 to age 18 may audition for this production. Any schedule conflicts are needed to be shown as you audition in order for the rehearsal schedules to be made. This production is directed by Dr. Linda Carr and the show dates are set to be from June 22 through July 2.
