Arrests/citations

• May 31 — Shakeyia Denise Eddington, 21, of 104 Hayes Court, Clinton, was charged with manufacturing of a controlled substance. Bond set at $5,000; court date is June 16.

• May 31 — Tyree Joel Smith, 28, of 204 W. Butler Ave., Clinton, was charged with assault by pointing a gun and assault with a deadly weapon with minor present. Bond set at $500.

• May 31 — Jaylen Jefferson Rose, 21, of 712 Stewart Ave., Clinton, was charged with assault on a child under 12. Bond set at $1,000; court date is June 13.

• June 1 — Eric Evans, 61, of 701 McKoy St., Clinton, was charged with simple physical assault and communicating threats. Bond set at $500; court date is June 28.

• June 1 — Edward Colt Jordan, 32, of 1927 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond set; court date is June 2.

• June 1 — Jordan Martin, 27, of 6628 Lina Drive, Stedman, was charged with two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of larceny and two counts of possession of stolen property. Bond set at $10,000; court date is June 2.

• June 1 — Charles Devon Spell, 44, of 201 Bud Spell Lane, Roseboro, was charged with second degree trespass. Bond set at $1,000; court date is June 26.

• June 1 — Timothy Wayne Godwin, 30, of 175 Vineyard Road, Roseboro, was charged on out-of-county warrant with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond set; court date is June 16.

• June 1 — Peyton Laverne McBride, 43, of 1732 Butler Road, Salemburg, was charged with felony possession of cocaine. Bond set at $5,000; court date is June 2.

• June 2 — Mildred Michele Suggs, 35, of 511 Southeast Blvd., Clinton, was charged with second degree trespass and communicating threats. Written promise; court date is June 20.

Incidents/investigations

• June 1 — Betty Brewer of Clinton reported the theft of a portable generator and 12-volt jump-starter. Items valued at $950.
