Tax Office employee Angela Sanderson was honored at Monday night’s Sampson County Board of Commissioners meeting upon her retirement, presented a plauque by board vice-chairperson Sue Lee. Sanderson served the county since October 1985.

Longtime county Public Works director Lee Cannady, joined by his family, was recognized for his service to the county. Recently retired, Cannady served Sampson since May 1988.
