The Sampson, Duplin and Pender Soil and Water Conservation Districts in Cooperation with the Natural Resources Conservation Service is planning to hold a local work group meeting.
This meeting will identify the environmental/conservation concerns in the area. The information gathered from this meeting will be used in the prioritization and planning processes for federal conservation cost-share programs, such as, the Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP). The meeting will be held on Thursday, Aug. 3, at 9 a.m. in the auditorium at the Duplin County Agricultural Center, 165 Agriculture Drive, Kenansville.
