Arrests/citations

• Aug. 4 — Cynthia Lynn Ellis, 47, of 6230 Minnie Hall Road, Roseboro, was charged with driving while impaired. Bond set at $1,500; court date is Aug. 22.

• Aug. 4 — Tyron Chevalier, 39, of 501 Stetson St., Clinton, was charged with simple physical assault. Bond set at $1,500; court date is Aug. 10.

• Aug. 4 — Francis Francois, 25, of 2876 Hobbton Hwy., Clinton, was charged with cyberstalking, harassing phone call, misdemeanor stalking and failure to comply. No bond set; court date is Aug. 29.

• Aug. 5 — Johnny Edward Lucas, 46, of 1107 Harmony Church Road, Clinton, was charged with assault on a female. No bond set; court date is Sept. 7.

• Aug. 5 — Teresa Rose Lucas, 41, of 1107 Harmony Church Road, Clinton, was charged with simple physical assault. No bond set; court date is Sept. 7.

• Aug. 5 — Marcony Tulio Ramos, 28, of 61 Spearman Lane, Clinton, was charged with no operator’s license, open container after consuming and driving while impaired. Bond set at $3,000; court date is Sept. 7.

• Aug. 5 — Emma May Garafola, 45, of 631 Williams St., Clinton, was charged with assault on a government official. Bond set at $3,000; court date is Aug. 15.

• Aug. 5 — Larry Donnell Crumpler, 25, of 5920 Tomahawk Hwy., Harrells, was charged with misdemeanor stalking. Bond set at $1,500; court date is Aug. 30.

• Aug. 5 — Antonio Ventura Fausto, 22, of 437 N. Johnson Road, Newton Grove, was charged with escape from custody or resisting arrest, criminal damage to property- personal, criminal damage to property- county government and assault on a female. Bond set at $5,000; court date is Oct. 5.

• Aug. 6 — Hector Lopez Hernandez, 33, of U.S. 701, Clinton, was charged with larceny-shoplifting. Bond set at $700; court date is Sept. 7.

Incidents/investigations

• Aug. 5 — Charlie Wynn of Clinton reported the theft of a pressure washer, weed eater and gas can containing gas. Items valued at $1,050.

• Aug. 6 — Jorge Calderon of Conover reported a Clinton-area broken into and numerous items taken. Three TVs, a microwave, Nintendo Wii console and various other electronics, including a camcorder, camera and speaker tower, stolen. Items valued at about $1,300.
