Peterson honored upon retirement


Pernella (Penny) Peterson recently retired from Sampson County Public Works after more than 15 years of service, working from January 2002 through June 2017. At Monday’s Board of Commissioners, Peterson was presented a plaque by board vice-chairwoman Sue Lee in recognition of her years of service to the county.
