With so many exciting things that are going to be taking place in Sampson County during the next few months, the Chamber encourages you to stay involved and to stay apart of our wonderful community. Not only does the Chamber have multiple things going on this fall, but so does the City of Clinton, the County of Sampson, and our very own Young Professionals of Sampson County.

The Sampson County Arts Council is holding a dedication ceremony for their new Carriage House Studio on Thursday, August 17th at 5:30 p.m. at 709 College St. This will be an evening full of fun and networking with some of Sampson Counties finest. After the dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony there will be an art show and reception featuring the art of Mica Joy Eanes. Her Lost In Wonderland art will bring you back to your most precious childhood memories. Join us for a night of laughter and bring your business card to let the Chamber work for you.

Join us next week for a ribbon cutting honoring CommWell Health’s new Mobil Dental Clinic on Tuesday, Aug. 22 at Lakewood High School. The ceremony will start at 11 a.m. on that Tuesday. This is the perfect opportunity to network and celebrate growth and expansion in Sampson County.

If you’re a member of the Chamber, don’t forget to display your new Green 2017 membership decal. Studies shows that when a consumer knows a small business is a member of the chamber, they are 63 percent more likely to purchase goods or services from that company in the future and it increases your local reputation by 57 percent in the consumer’s eyes. Be sure to display your membership proudly and shoppers, please check out the Chamber Membership Decals located throughout Sampson County and support them as we buy local first.

I encourage you to get involved with the Chamber of Commerce. As an individual or business member, take advantage of the opportunities to network, advertise, attend educational seminars, and more. We are over 400 members strong and continuing to grow. Give us a call at 910-592-6177 and let us be a part of your business or organization today.
