Area churches hosting fall revival services

On Wednesday, Aug. 30, at 7:30 p.m. (already in progress) First Missionary Baptist Church, Kenansville, is having their annual revival. The guest revivalist is the Rev. Cameron Hankins of New Christian Chapel.

On Wednesday, Aug. 30-Sept. 1, at 7 p.m. fall revival is being held at Holy Tabernacle UHC, Roseboro. There are several guest revivalists and choirs on the program.

On Sunday, Sept. 3, at 3:30 p.m. the conclusion celebrating the 18th pastoral anniversary for Pastor Christopher Brown Jr. will be held. The guest messenger will be Bishop Quincy Gardner, choir and congregation of New Saints Delight UHC. Mt. Oliver. Dinner will be served following morning service.

On Sunday, Sept. 3, Beaver Dam Missionary Baptist Church on Odom Road, will observe 11 a.m. worship service. The pastor, the Rev. Jeremy Jones, will bring forth the message and the Polly and Willie Butler family reunion descendants choir will render the music.

On Sunday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m., regular morning worship service will be held at Clinton International Church on Tillery Street, Clinton. The pastor, the Rev. Paul Blue, will bring forth the morning message and music rendered by the praise team.

On Sunday, Sept. 3, at 11 a.m. White Oak Disciples of Christ Church will celebrate homecoming service. The pastor, Bishop Charles Williams Sr., will bring forth the morning message and music will be rendered by the mass choir.

On Sunday, Sept 3, at 11 a.m. homecoming will be observed at Garland First Baptist Church, Garland. Dinner will be served following morning service. At 3 p.m. the Rev. William Smith, choir and congregation of Newkirk Chapel Church, Willard, will be the guest.

On Monday, Sept. 4-10, at 7:30 p.m. each night, Mt. Zion UHC, Warsaw, will be celebrating Elder Lorenzo and First Lady Cheryl Simmons’ 21st pastoral anniversary. There will be several guest speakers and choirs on the program. On Sunday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. Pastor Lena Clark, choir and congregation of Morning Star UHC, Clinton, will render the service.

On Tuesday, Sept. 5-7, at 7:30 p.m. each night, fall revival will be held at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Turkey. There are several guest revivalists and choirs on the program.

On Wednesday, Sept. 6-8 at 7 p.m., annual fall revival will be held at Garland First Baptist Church. There are several guest revivalists and choirs on the program.

On Saturday, Sept. 9, at 6 p.m. the 30th pastoral anniversary for Bishop Varnie and co-pastor Idella Fullwood will be celebrated with the celebration banquet in the church fellowship hall. Tickets to attend must be purchased.

On Saturday, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. New Birth Deliverance and International Church Ministry will celebrate their pastor’s anniversary for pastor Ronald Highsmith. The continuance of the anniversary will be on Sunday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. with several guest speakers. Dinner will be served following morning service.

On Sunday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. annual family and friends day and homecoming service will be observed at Cedar Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. The guest messenger will be the Rev. Marvin T. Clowney Sr., choir and congregation of Christ Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. Dinner will be served following the morning service.

On Sunday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. annual family and friend’s day will be observed at Union Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Keener. Dr. Eddie Parker, choir and congregation of Mingle Hill Disciples of Christ will be the guests. Dinner will be served following morning service.

On Sunday, Sept. 10, at 3 p.m. Roseville Missionary Baptist Church, Harrells, will celebrate homecoming. The guest messenger will be the Rev. Morrisey, choir and congregation of Snow Hill Church, Ivanhoe. Dinner will be served following the morning worship service.

On Monday, Sept. 11-13, at 7:30 p.m. (nightly) fall revival will be held at Roseville Missionary Baptist Church, Harrells. The guest revivalist will be the Rev. Buie and congregation of Mt. Zion Church, Rieglewood. Different choirs will render the music each night.

On Tuesday, Sept. 12, at 7 p.m. (nightly) men and women’s revival will be held at New Life Outreach Ministries, Clinton. Different guest speakers and choirs each night.

On Wednesday, Sept. 13-15, at 7:30 p.m. (nightly) fall revival will be held at Union Grove Freewill Church, Keener. The guest revivalist will be Dr. Claudie Morrisey of Littlefield Missionary Baptist Church, Newton Grove. Different choirs will render the music each night.

On Sunday, Sept. 15 at 7:30 p.m. Pastor R. Hansley, gospel choir and congregation of Roseville Missionary Baptist Church will render service at the Undenominational Pentecostal Holiness Church, Willard.

On Sunday, Sept. 17, at 3 p.m. Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 9030 Harnett-Dunn Hwy., will celebrate their annual homecoming service. The guest messenger will be Dr. Bishop Benjamin Sutton, choir and congregation of McLean Chapel Freewill Baptist Church, Bunnlevel. Dinner will be served following morning service.

On Monday, Sept. 18-20 at 7:30 p.m. (nightly) Pastor R. Hansley of Roseville Missionary Baptist Church, will be the guest revivalist at Mt. Pisgah Church, Burgaw. The gospel choir will accompany him on Wednesday night.

Saturday, Sept. 30, Mt. Pleasant will host a luncheon in support of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. There is a cost to attend with all proceeds going to the MS Foundation. FMI, call the church at 910-564-6630.
