Harrells Christian Academy Seniors Individually Blessed In Special Ceremony

This year, as in past years, each member of the senior class at Harrells Christian Academy has chosen one teacher or staff member to be their “Blesser” for the year. In a special ceremony on Sunday, Aug. 20, these adults formally committed to mentoring and praying for their Senior “blessee” for the year to come and beyond.

After the event, Bible teacher Emily Smith said, “The senior blessing ceremony embodies everything Harrells Christian Academy stands for. Every year, teachers and staff have an opportunity to speak life over students by acknowledging their character traits and exhorting them to exalt Jesus with excellence. The opportunity to commit to intentionally disciple one student for an entire year is both a unique and rewarding experience for all participants.”

Senior Abbigail Clark of White Lake said, “It was a great experience to feel so welcomed as students and to start our year with such special encouragement from the teachers and staff,” senior Abbigail Clark of White Lake, said. “We know we will have their support throughout the year.”
