The final showings of ‘Seussical, the Musical’ will be held this weekend at 7:30 p.m. tonight and tomorrow night and 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

“Seussical, the Musical” will perform its final four shows this weekend with shows at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1 and Saturday, Sept. 2 plus matinees at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2 and Sunday, Sept. 3.

Cast “C” will take over the stage this weekend after Cast “B” had wonderful performances by Jojo (Simon Ussery), the Cat in the Hat (Coleman Simpson) and Horton, the Elephant (Chuck Moore) as well as the rest of the cast who were rewarded with loud whistles, cheers and applause.

Cast “C” will feature Rodney Hall as Mr. Mayor and Lucas Jackson as Horton the Elephant while Erica Miller will portray Maysie LaBird and Catherine Smith will be the Sour Kangaroo. You do not want to miss this show and you only have four chances this last weekend. You are urged to purchase your tickets early at Inkspot or Matthew’s Gifts.

Last weekend Performance Dodge/Ford had a beautiful blue vehicle on display on the sidewalk by the box-office. We don’t know whether it or another vehicle will be on display this weekend but it sure was beautiful.

Tom Wilbur, the director of “The Odd Couple, female version” held auditions this past Saturday and has a cast of some great actors including Erica Miller, Felesia Buczynski, Lisa Cain, Greta Steffens and Lila Maxwell. They are going to make Mr. Wilbur and Neil Simon proud!

Thoughts until next week

A woman is more responsive to a man’s forgetfulness than to his attentions.

Accept that the only thing you can control is your own thoughts and actions.

Remember you can’t please everybody, and you really don’t have to.
