Lew Gravis, a sociology instructor at Sampson Community College, made news earlier this year with the hard copy release of his first book, To Kill For A Fortune. Not one to take a break between projects, Gravis’ latest offering was already underway before news of the first release had passed.

His second book, entitled Isaac’s Touch, is based on a dream Gravis had. The book is finished and the first 5,000 words can be previewed absolutely free if you have an account with Amazon.com. And, Gravis says, if you preview the book and nominate it for publishing, there’s a little something in it for you. If the book ends up getting published, a free digital copy of the book from Amazon will be given to each person who nominated it!

“I’m excited about it,” said Gravis. “I spent a lot of time on the book and it is completely a different genre than the first. Anyone who goes to isaacstouch.com can end up getting the book for free if Kindle Press publishes the novel.”

Readers will only have until the end of September to preview the book and possibly earn their free copy. Kindle Scout is reader-powered publishing for new, never-before-published books. It’s a place where readers help decide if a book gets published. Selected books will be published by Kindle Press.

Isaac’s Touch is a science-fiction and supernatural tale of a young man who was able to make significant impacts in people’s lives from his touch alone. It is described as a roller-coaster ride from rural North Carolina, back in time and onto other worlds.

The book is a complete about face from Gravis’ first book about a young man contemplating to murder his father for money. Visit isaacstouch.com and enjoy your free preview from this talented local artist.
