Arrests/citations

• Oct. 29 — Khadijah Ashley, 24, of 51 Anne Bell Lane, Clinton, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense. Bond set at $2,000; court date is Oct. 29.

• Oct. 29 — Christopher Neal Jr., 16, of 300 W. Butler Ave., Clinton, was charged with assault and battery. No bond set; court date is Nov. 6.

• Oct. 29 — Moses Juanchi, 18, of 2583 King Road, Clinton, was charged with driving after consuming alcohol under 21. Bond set at $500; court date is Nov. 29.

• Oct. 30 — Charles Devon Owens, 37, of 586 Old Fayetteville Road, Salemburg, was charged with financial card fraud. Bond set at $2,000; court date is Nov. 3.

• Oct. 30 —Annie Margaret Owens, 49, of 196 Bubba Gump Lane, Salemburg, was charged with communicating threats. Bond set at $500; court date is Nov. 14.

• Oct. 30 — Brittany Tiquisha Kenan, 27, of 238 Quail Run Lane, Clinton, was charged with simple assault and communicating threats. Bond set at $500; court date is Nov. 14.

• Oct. 30 — Dashawn Walker, 18, of 409 W. Morisey Blvd., Clinton, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond set; court date is Nov. 13.

• Oct. 30 — Danthony Venable, 26, of 12010 Olde Mintz Hwy., Clinton, was charged with larceny. No bond set; court date is Nov. 2.

• Oct. 31 — Hope Onyea Michelle Smith, 16, of 4931 Faison Hwy., Clinton, was charged with simple affray. No bond set; court date is Nov. 16.

• Oct. 31 — Charti De’vyne Smith, 17, of 4931 Faison Hwy., Clinton, was charged with simple affray. No bond set; court date is Nov. 16.

Incidents/investigations

• Oct. 30 — Chauncey Newton of Harrells reported a break-in and theft of two portable laptops, TV, surveillance system with four cameras, a case and tripod, assorted clothing and cash. Items valued at $5,350.
