Floral Design just in time for holidays

Sampson Community College’s Floral Design students wasted no time getting right to work since the session ended earlier this week. Students were assigned a service project to benefit the community and the recipient of this goodwill was the Victor Small House, located at 709 College St. in Clinton. Directed by Katie Brown, director of Customized Training at SCC, the floral design instructor and students created a partnership with Ms Kara Donatelli, executive director of the Sampson Arts Council. As a result, students decorated mantles and the front stairwell at The Victor Small House for Christmas. To find out about floral design at SCC, call 910-592-8081 or to plan a visit to the Victor Small House, call 910-596-2533.
