Gerald Lee was honored as 2017 Firefighter of the Year during Tuesday night’s Clinton City Council meeting. Lee, pictured here with Chief Austin Tew and Mayor Lew Starling, began his career as a firefighter 21 years ago with Warsaw Fire Department when he was just 16 years old. He volunteered for Turkey and served in the National Guard for seven years before coming to Clinton FD at the end of 2010. Tew said Lee’s priorities were ‘God, family and the fire service.’
