A Plain View man has received more felony charges against him, these in connection with a June break-in on Moses Lane.
William Dallas Barefoot, 27, of 623 OBJ Road, Dunn, was charged Thursday with breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen goods/property. He was served the charges at the Sampson Detention Center and placed under $30,000 secured bond
According to information from the Sheriff’s Office, the charges stem from a break-in reported in June at 72 Moses Lane, in which more than $1,500 worth of items were taken.
Barefoot received similar charges in July after sheriff’s deputies were contacted by the N.C. Department of Corrections and informed of a probation violation. Barefoot was arrested at his home at that time and placed under $40,000 bond.
He currently stands charged with two counts each of breaking and entering,. larceny and possession of stolen goods. According to the N.C. Department of Public Safety, Barefoot has prior convictions of larceny, burglary and breaking and entering, as well as possession of stolen goods, dating back to 2009.
