I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Megan Henry as a new member of the Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce team.

Megan began her role as the Administrative Assistant this past Thursday, Sept. 17. With having only a few days in her new position, she expresses an eagerness to continue discovering more about her role with the Chamber and how the Chamber can assist each member.

Originally from the town of Newton Grove, Megan attended college at UNCW and has traveled throughout the country with her work in the Arts-related nonprofit sector since graduating in 2013. She enjoys meeting new people and is looking forward to her journey with the Chamber. She is pleased to be a part of the Chamber’s goal to build a stronger community by helping Chamber members expand their business, grow their relationships, and improve their quality of life.

“It’s wonderful to have the opportunity to learn more about the area I grew up. I’m excited to get to know each of the Chamber Members as we work together for the betterment of Sampson County” states Megan. “Although I’ve only been in the position a few days, I’ve already had the pleasure of meeting several local business owners, attended a Member of the Week reception, and learned about the Chamber’s Adult Leadership Program.”

Megan continues, “I’m so happy be here, and look forward to working with each of the Chamber members in growing the heart of our community.”

Again, on behalf of the Chamber staff and Board of Directors, we are excited about welcoming Megan to the Chamber team. I encourage you to stop by and visit Megan in the Chamber office and let her learn more about your business or organization as we are “working together for total community development.”

As always, I thank each of our members for your support and encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities the Chamber provides. Give us a call, 592-6177 or visit www.clintonsampsonchamber.org for more information about the Chamber or to get involved. Let the chamber work for you.
