On Monday, Oct. 12, Union High School held its annual Career & Technical Education Honor Society Induction Ceremony in the UHS Auditorium. The CTE Honor Society recognizes students who have demonstrated superior academic achievement and who have exhibited outstanding leadership qualities in Career & Technical Education. The inductees must be endorsed by a Career & Technical Education faculty member, in addition to meeting and maintaining specific requirements. Pictured are the 18 distinguished seniors that met the qualifications to be inducted and were honored with a certificate of achievement. These students will wear an honor cord at graduation signifying their membership in the Society. Members include: Yasmin Aguilar, Daisy Almonte, Julia Arroyo, Deana Autry, Evelyn Carranza, John English, Asia Henry, Cole Kornegay, Marco Lerma, MaKayla McNeil, Anna Moore, Jawawn Newkirk, Skye Page, Emily Price, Austin Richardson, Brady Roberts, Frankie Serrano, and Kaitlyn Willetts.
