Michael Mozingo, administrator of the Edith Bradshaw Scholarship, recently announced this year’s recipient of the scholarship named in honor of his mother. The recipient is Angelica Juarez, who received a $1,500 award at the 10 a.m. mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Clinton on Mother’s Day, May 10. She is the daughter of Sara Sanchez and Fernandez Juarez of Rose Hill and is a senior at the Duplin Early College High School in Kenansville. In June, she will receive her high school diploma and her associate in arts degrees and continue her education at East Carolina University where she will major in biology. This is the 13th annual award in memory of Mozingo’s mother, Edith Bradshaw.
