Duplin County’s history will be the focal point of Saturday’s Heritage Day at Liberty Hall.

KENANSVILLE — Liberty Hall will celebrate Heritage Day on the grounds of the historic landmark Saturday, May 16, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public.

Parking will be available at Southern Bank and Kenan Park, Liberty Hall officials said.

The day will be a celebration of the history of Duplin County, its ancestors, culture and traditions. Demonstrations of spinning wool, knitting, basket weaving and other crafts will be taking place throughout the day.
