Scheduled to open on April 8 at 8 p.m. is the Neil Simon written comedy-drama “I Ought To Be In Pictures” and it is entering the last weeks of rehearsals with more frequent practices and fewer missed lines.

The set, built by the Holland brothers (Dan, Fred, and Randy), Joe Guerra and Jessica Watts, is relatively elaborate because its locale is California and not New York City. Two members of the cast will be remembered for their recent appearance on our stage in the delightful comedy “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” when Erica Miller was bouncing all over the stage as Snoopy and Catherine Smith was dressed in yellow as the bird (Woodstock) and never says a word but comes alive when Snoopy becomes a WW1 ace pilot.

Who can forget the scene where Snoopy and Woodstock were sitting on Snoopy’s doghouse firing away at their enemy. In this show one is a girlfriend and the other a daughter that has been forgotten about until she appears on her father’s house door. There are laughs galore in this show but you have to pay attention or you will miss a lot of the witty stuff. Thanks to The Florist and Antiques of Warsaw for sponsoring this wonderful Spring show.

All patrons are asked to mark your calendar for the Patron Appreciation Event Saturday April 23 at 8 p.m. where all valid patrons will be freely entertained with a Las Vegas type show which will be taped to submit as an audition tape for potential entertainment on a cruise ship over the summer by Taylor Michaels and which will be a mix of music and magic.

Patron Sponsor tickets are available by calling Brenda Martin at 990-4510. These tickets allow two people to attend every show we produce and get their names included in every program at a reduced rate.
