The cast of “101 Dalmatians”still needs several 3-5 year old youngsters that will play a very small part at the conclusion of the show where they will be needed as small puppies at the Dalmatian Plantation. If you have a child three to five years of age that wants to enjoy a dramatic career bring them to rehearsals at 4:30 p.m. this Sunday, May 31. The cast is also in need of a couple of real life Dalmatians to make cameo appearances at the end of the show. Please call Linda Carr at 910-336-1111 if you have a Dalmatian that wants to get on the stage and perhaps become as great a star as Lassie.
Watch Dodie Smiths novel come to life on the big stage of the Sampson Community Theater sponsored by Prestage Farms and a Grassroots Grant and directed by Dr. L. J. Carr and performed by two casts of Sampson County young folks. Tickets will be available at Inkspot and Matthews Gifts.
On Wednesday, June 24, at 10 a.m., a special performance is planned for Summer Care Camps and pre-schools only (the public is not invited). Day Care facilities need to call the Director L. J. Carr at 336-1111 for details of this performance.
Angela Martin directed “Shrek the Musical” with an all county high school cast of 50 at Hobbton High this past Saturday, May 23. The kids had worked hard in bringing this to the area and they appreciated the support of the big audiences. Many of the cast are seen regularly on our big stage at the Sampson Community Theater and they showed their professionalism.
