7/28 - Vernon Donald Hicks, 53, 402 Weeks St., Clinton, failure to appear on charge of habitual larceny. Bond $10,000; court date Aug. 15.
7/28 - William Joseph Usher, 52, 4879 Reedsford Road, Clinton, failure to comply/child support. Bond $1,000; court date July 29. No disposition available.
7/28 - Durwood Bradley Horne, 46, 450 Howard Road, Autryville, insurance fraud, obtaining money/property by false pretense, both felonies. Bond $30,000; court date Aug. 1.
7/28 - Raheem Shabazz Bryant, 16, 1213 Drowning Road, Raleigh, larceny. Bond $1,500; court date Aug. 4.
7/28 - John Norwood Faircloth, 50, 4466 Bass Lake Road, Clinton, reckless driving to endanger, hit/run/fail to stop/property damaged. Bond $2,000; court date Sept. 17.
7/28 - A Ruger .380-caliber semi-automatic pistol valued at $250 was stolen from an Ernie Road residence near Godwin.
7/28 - Two hundred feet of No. 2 tin to copper wire valued at $350 was stolen from around a fence at a South River Electric Membership Coop. site on Raleigh Street in Newton Grove.
7/28 - Sixty feet of No. 4 copper wire valued at $650 and 34 copper clamps valued at $200 were stolen from a Duke Power station on Raleigh Street in Newton Grove. Entry was gained by cutting the fence. Damage estimated at $300.
7/28 - Two TVs valued at $400, a computer monitor valued at $400 and a weed eater valued at $150 were stolen from a Quail Run Drive residence near Clinton. Entry was gained through a window. Damage was estimated at $300.
7/28 - A riding lawn mower valued at $3,000 was stolen from a locked storage shed on Cabin Museum Road near Turkey.
7/28 - Four A/C window units valued at $$2,700, a compressor for a drink machine valued at $800, a compressor for a freezer valued at $700 and two cooling radiators valued at $800 were stolen during a break-in of two buildings — one a restaurant, the other a store — on U.S. 421 Hwy., north of Clinton. Damage to windows, frames around the A/C units and an upstairs wall in the restaurant was estimated at over $8,500.
