Four more names were added to the list of Operation Double Tap arrests, a roll of suspected drug offenders that is continuing to grow as county Special Investigation Division work to take into custody over 100 individuals tapped as part of the year-long undercover operation.
So far, close to 50 have been rounded up in the operation, which began Aug. 11 and is continuing this week, with charges ranging from trafficking in heroin, cocaine and marijuana to the sell and deliver of controlled substances.
Those names released Wednesday by Sampson Sheriff’s authorities include:
• GQ Sherrod Foye, 23, 724 Sampson Homes St., Clinton, 1 count sell marijuana, 1 count deliver marijuana, 1 count possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana. Bond $15,000; court date Aug. 29.
• Bernard Howard, 49, 210 Byrd St., Clinton, 2 counts trafficking in opium or heroin. Bond $100,000; court date Aug. 29.
• Kevin Germaine Lee, 39, 97 Frank Lane, Clinton, 1 count sell/deliver cocaine, 1 count possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, 2 counts sell marijuana, 2 counts deliver marijuana, 2 counts possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana. Bond $35,000; court date Aug. 29.
• James Curtis Walker, 23, 41 Golden Eagle Lane, Clinton, 3 counts possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine, 3 counts sell cocaine, 3 counts deliver cocaine, 1 count each of manufacture, sell, deliver, possess a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a child care facility, manufacture, sell, deliver possess a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park, possession of a firearm by a felony, possession of a stolen firearm. Bond $50,000; court date Aug. 29.
