Arrests


• July 4 — Erick Turron Oates, 42, of 300 E. Butler St., Clinton, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, driving while impaired, driving while license revoked.


• July 4 — Jeannette Freda Kameenui, 52, of 2313 Apt. B7 Indian Drive, Jacksonville, was charged with misdemeanor cruelty of animals. Court date is Aug. 11.


• July 4 —Antoine Tyrone Brant, 22, of 618 Emerald Drive, Fayetteville, was charged with possession of marijuana.


• July 4 — Cory Mercer, 27, of 408 E. Main St., Elm City, was charged with misdemeanor larceny. Court date is Aug. 11.


• July 4 — Dexter Marteaz Devone, 23, of 105 S. Clinton Drive, Clinton, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set; court date is July 22.

• July 5 — Kimberly Ann Morrisey, 29, of 705 Betty St., Clinton, was charged with simple assault and served an order for arrest on possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce. No bond was set; court date is July 22.


• July 5 — Kendrick Dion Underwood, 27, of 766 The Avenue, Clinton, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set; court date is July 22.


• July 5 — Ike Sidden Finney, 47, of 127 Heath St., Clinton, was charged with simple assault and communicating threats.


• July 5 — Kimberly Ann Morrisey, 29, of Teachey, was charged with assault on female and, on Duplin County warrant, with possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce.


• July 5 — Kardo Lee Anderson, 19, of Archibald Lane, Salemburg, was charged with simple assault. Bond was set at $1,000; court date is July 30.


• July 6 — Christy Owens Simmons, 32, of 71 Love of Kids Lane, Roseboro, was charged with larceny. Bond was set at $500; court date is July 14.


• July 6 — Johnny Brandon Pope, 31, of 414 Lucas Road, Roseboro, was charged with aid and abet larceny and disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $1,000; court date is July 14.


• July 6 — Kenneth Walter Stephens, 47, of 5780 Plainview Hwy., Dunn, was charged with simple assault. Bond was set at $500; court date is July 30.


• July 6 — Waylon Harole Strickland, 44, of 722 Hitching Post Road, Roseboro, was charged with assault on a female and resisting arrest. No bond was set; court date is July 22.


• July 6 — Jose Guadalupe Velazquez Vera, 27, of 110 Oakland Blvd., Clinton, was charged with driving while impaired. Court date is Aug. 14.


• July 6 — Francis Ray Pietrolaj, 47, of Ozzie Road, Clinton, was charged with driving while impaired and speeding. Bond was set at $1,500; court date is Aug. 21.


• July 6 — Antonio Bob Peterson, 31, of Kelly, was charged with driving while impaired.


• July 6 — Herlindo Ruis Perez, 73, of Dunn, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.

• July 4 — Tonya West of Garland reported a 50-inch plasma TV, valued at $750, stolen from her home.


• July 4 — Angelica Nolasco of Salemburg reported a television, valued at $300, stolen.


• July 4 — Jerry New of Clinton reported damage to his Chevrolet truck. The damage, inflicted to the exterior paint by a BB gun shot, was estimated at $1,800.


• July 6 — Bobby Sumner of Garland reported items taken, including two weed eaters, a backpack blower, hedge clippers, two gas cans and a lock. The items were valued at $950.
