The Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce strives to serve as a voice for our membership and the local community. As the vehicle to reach our local, state, and national representation, last August the Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce hosted the first “Sampson Perspective.” Through this event, the mission is to provide an avenue for the community to ask the most pressing questions to our leaders.
Sitting on last year’s Sampson County Executive Leadership Panel were Congressman Mike McIntyre, Sen. Brent Jackson, Rep. Bell, Rep. William Brisson, county manager Ed Causey, Clinton city manager Shawn Purvis, and director of Sampson Planning and Zoning Mary Rose.
With standing room only for last year’s event, this year’s Sampson Perspective planning has already begun for another August event. This August event will yet again provide Chamber members and the community the opportunity to inquire about the topics that impact the businesses and organizations on a daily basis. Chamber members will have the opportunity to submit questions prior to the event in order to be asked by the moderator.
More information is to come about this year’s event and those that will be on the panel, I am looking forward to another important event for Chamber and Community members.
