Is it December already? So many exciting things have been going on at the Chamber that November has flown by. We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have truly been blessed this year at the Chamber. We encourage everyone to stay involved this holiday season and to shop local.
Our Coat Closet project is coming to an end and we are so excited about how great this year turned out. We have had many coats dropped off here at the Chamber and we hear our other locations have had success too. It means the world to families and children in need that their community has come together to help them stay warm this winter. Thank you to the community from the bottom of our hearts.
Downtown Clinton will be in the festive spirit for the annual “Christmas in the City” today, Dec. 1. Join us in downtown Clinton for the tree lighting celebration at 5:30 p.m. followed by a wide variety of events including museum tours, carriage and hay rides, gingerbread decorating, live entertainment, and much more. We look forward to another great event with an evening full of festive activities.
Santa is making an appearance in the Christmas Parade this year. Join us on Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. in Downtown Clinton for our Christmas is Clinton Parade. There are a lot of new attractions this year so bring your whole family and enjoy the sights. We encourage you to come out early and enjoy a nice breakfast downtown or stay afterwards and check out some of our amazing shops and pick out those last holiday gifts. We hope to see you there.
