Incidents/investigations
• Aug. 20 — Joseph and Joann Hudson reported the theft of two televisions and a DVD player, valued at a total of $504, from a Faison Highway home.
• Aug. 20 — Donald Hollingsworth of Clinton reported a break-in to his storage building with various power tools and other items stolen, including an electric sander, cordless drill, floor jack and pressure washer. Items were valued at $870. Damage to a window screen was estimated at $25.
• Aug. 20 — Friendly Mart on Spivey’s Corner Highway, Dunn, was victim of theft. Three propane tanks, valued at $162, were stolen. Damage to the tank cage was estimated at $200.
