Early voting begins today, and the Sampson County Board of Elections is prepared for those who wish to cast their vote prior to the May 6 primary.

Voters can visit the BOE offices, 335 County Complex Road (Building D) from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. weekdays. On Saturday, April 26, hours will be from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., and the final day of voting, Saturday, May 3, the office will open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m..

There will be no Sunday voting.

The Democratic and Republican ballot will be chock full of primary selections, including a countywide alcohol referendum.
