Kiwanian Mac McPhail counts plates in preparation for the Clinton club's 56th annual Pancake & Sausage Feast, being held Friday, Feb. 21, from 5 until 7:30 p.m., and again Saturday, from 6:30 until 9:30 a.m., at Sunset Avenue Elementary School's cafeteria. Tickets can be purchased from any Kiwanis Club member or at the door. Smokey Norris with US Foods contributes the 16 cases of batter and other supplies for the event, and Murphy-Brown donates funds to purchase the 800 pounds of sausage that will be cooked up. Other contributors include Star Telephone, which stores the club's griddles, Parker Gas which services the griddles and Dwight Saunders who contributes a griddle for the event.
