Clinton’s Royal Lane Park was the site Thursday morning for the Mid Carolina Senior Games horseshoes tournament, men’s and women’s division.

The games are open to seniors ages 50 and up.

Dozens of participants took part in the horseshoe tourney, with about 20 or more spectators there to cheer them on throughout the day.

The games are going on across the region for the next two weeks, culminating in many advancing to the state games being held later in the month.
